Elementary English Language Course
The Integrated English Course is a program that consists of three main levels of learning: the Elementary level, the Intermediate Level, and the Advanced level. The program aims to help students develop a number of competencies particularly in the domain of reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, critical thinking skills, and self-learning. It employs a very pragmatic approach to language learning concentrating on the main elements of language in general which include writing, reading, listening and speaking.
This program is integrated because it consists of both online and offline learning activities. The students will be given 3 hours of classes every week, 1hr30mins per session. The program is enriched with electronic documents and multimedia files (videos, audios) to reinforce the language skills and support learning at the individual level. Throughout the different stages of the program, the students will be given quizzes, assignments and group work. The final test taken by the end of the course in addition to the marks gathered during the course work will help to assess the student’s level. Generally, students can be considered ready to move to the next level if they have 75% of the points allocated for each course.
Integrated English Language Course-Elementary Level is an integrated basic level course that introduces the students to the basics of English Language grammar and vocabulary and serves as a foundation for the development of the students’ receptive skills (reading and listening) and productive skills (writing and speaking. During this course, the students will also learn the basic differences and similarities between the English and French Language and how to use this knowledge to facilitate their learning procedure.

Classroom learning makes up a major part of the course. However, online groups will equally be an important element of the course.
By the end of this course, the students will be able to:
- Master the basics of English language grammar;
- Develop a basic knowledge of vocabulary and grammar.
- Understand the differences between English and French and how to use it to their advantage;
- Communicate orally in English for personal, social, and academic purposes.
- Master basic spelling rules in English
- Read and comprehend texts of varying length at basic level
- Use effective writing skills to give information at basic level
By the end of this course, successful candidates will write a general exam after a series of individual and group assignments. The exam will constitute 70% of the marks. Successful candidates will be given Success Testimonials(Attestations)
